ABOUT US
Our Mission & Vision
Our Mission
Empowered Mind Therapy Center (EMTC) empowers women to overcome anxiety, depression, & trauma and show up in the world as who they strive to be.
EMTC provides high-quality mental health services using specialized, brain-based therapy techniques that tap into the brain's natural ability to heal. This enables the women we serve to create lasting change for themselves in the most powerful way possible, from within.
Our Vision
EMTC believes in the exponential effect women (Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) women in particular) can have on those around them and beyond.
EMTC envisions women of color receiving high-quality mental health care without stigma, empowering themselves, and changing the world.
Our Values
Mental Health Care as Community Care
Brain & Trauma Education
Anti-Racism & Social Justice
Employee Wellness
FROM OUR FOUNDER
Vanessa Solis, LCSW
Founder & Director
Empowered Mind Therapy Center
I created Empowered Mind Therapy Center because I wanted to create an environment where BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, & People of Color) women thrive. Because let's be real —
When BIPOC women are at the top of their game, everybody benefits. Our impact is exponential, so our mental health is top priority.
We look forward to see you grow and make an impact you were meant for.
In Community,
Vanessa
