Clinical Therapist

 EMTC is looking for a Full-Time Therapist to join our growing team!

Here’s who we are looking for….

An ideal applicant will be available for at least 28 client sessions a week.  This is a full time position that will begin as part time as case load builds. Applicant must have a desire to work for a startup group therapy practice, and expressly dedicated to work towards EMTC’s collective vision. 

Pre- Licensed Clinician Compensation range: $70 per session hour 

Licensed Clinician Compensation range: $80-$100 per session hour

Administrative Time is compensated at $18/hr.

 

Applicant qualifications include:

Master’s Degree in mental health related field, registration number with California BBS. Good standing with BBS.

  • At least 3 years of direct clinical experience. 

  • Experience in treating trauma, practicing trauma informed treatment

  • Experience in treating women's issues & BIPOC communities, understanding mental health & social justice implications.

  • Does not currently have their own private practice or work for another group practice

Position Responsibilities include:

Maintain a caseload of 15 client sessions a week

  • Timely completion of treatment plans, progress notes, and billing

  • Coordination of care as required with other providers

  • Attend weekly Team Meeting, Clinical Consultation/Training meeting & regular Supervision

  • Participate in community events & networking opportunities

  • Being an organized, self starter

Highly desired applicant skills/experience:

  • Trained or training in progress in EMDR and/or Brainspotting

  • Availability to see clients in person in Walnut Creek, CA or Hayward, CA

  • Maintains availability 2 evenings per week or 1 weekend day for client availability.

  • Clinical focus in serving QTBIPOC, Neurodivergent, Teen, Eating Disorder populations

  • Experience in Group Work or Workshop Delivery

  • Mental Health Content Creation (social media, blogs etc.)
